Beach Battle: Safty Line®

The interactive game exhibition I created for Map Mima

Project Duration

3 Months

Services Provided

Product Design, UX, UI, 3D Modeling, Development

Problem

Our project for Australia's MAP mima's 'The Cube' aims to tackle beach erosion through an immersive 360° interactive artwork, blending UI/UX design, media modeling, and app development to create an engaging educational experience. The primary challenge lies in effectively integrating complex educational content on beach erosion protection into an interactive format that captivates the Lake Macquarie community. This innovative approach demands a careful balance between educational goals and engaging entertainment, posing a unique challenge in delivering content that both informs and inspires.

Additionally, the project seeks to raise awareness and engagement within the community about beach erosion and the benefits of pebble beaches, despite existing council efforts and collaborations. The task extends beyond the technical and artistic development of the exhibition to encompass effective communication and community outreach. Faced with a tight development timeline and the necessity for extensive research and design, our team must navigate logistical challenges to ensure the exhibition not only educates but also motivates community action towards understanding and combating beach erosion.
